After that, we proceeded to clean the surface with a cleaner specially formulated to work on natural stone and a soft brush scrubbing system to remove the dirt that had built up on the stone's surface.   Once the floor was completely dry, we continued with color sealing the grout—the original grout seemed to have been applied irregularly, so we used this method to even both the color and the spaces between the slate tiles. Next, we proceeded to seal the stone surface.
